The Railroad Museum Dining Car & Property Rental Information
The Doyle P. Bond Dining Car is a unique venue available for rental to
adults 21 years and older. (Children
and teens parties are permitted with adequate adult supervision.)
The seating capacity of the dining car is 48. It is air conditioned and
heated, as weather dictates.
Use of the dining car by the general public, including adult
organizations, private groups, individuals, caterers, and restaurants
must be secured by reservation and contract with the Museum for the
following fee schedules:
Catered event with 26
persons or more -- $200 for 5 hours (Catered
means food and drink from any source.).
Catered event with 25 persons or less -- $125 for 5 hours; small group
gatherings lasting 2 hours or less –2.00 per person (Examples
are: service club meetings, Bridge, Bunco, Music Study, etc.);
Additional
hours (2 hr. max.) are $25 each; All Day Meetings (with
or without food)
-- $400 for 8 hours. Events with food require a $350 refundable
security/cleaning deposit; other events incur a $50 refundable deposit.
An adjoining courtyard and
covered pavilion area is available for children’s birthday parties or
other outdoor events, but is not automatically included with rental of
the dining car. Use of the outdoor areas can be reserved for 2 hours
with a $45 fee, plus a $50 refundable deposit.
