MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION
With membership in the New Braunfels Railroad Museum, you can:
- Participate with the other members in the planning and development of museum improvements
- Approve the annual budget and vote on other museum decisions
- Help with our preservation and restoration projects
- You can become a Docent
- You can run your own model trains on our N, HO,S, O, and G scale layouts anytime
- Work with children and special needs people
Membership Responsibilities include:

- Annual Dues are just $25.00 per year
- You are encouraged to attend our membership meetings on the second Monday of each month
- You can run your own model trains, anytime
- Free admission at our Trainshows (when you work)
- Encouraged to participate in museum operation and modeling projects
Museum Activities

- 2 annual train shows (our fund raisers)
- Twice monthly Kids Fun Day; First and Third Saturday of every month
- On-going display and exhibit improvements
- Railroad library
- Maintain and operate the 4 static HO, N, O, S, and G scale layouts.
- Maintain and operate the mobile layouts at various events.

VOLUNTEER INFORMATION
As a non-profit organization, the New Braunfels Railroad Museum relies on its members and volunteers to participate in daily operations as well as serving as Docents. By serving, you will help to preserve the museum artifacts and educate the public about the museum’s history. Volunteering is at the time and day(s) of your choosing. When you become a Volunteer at the New Braunfels Railroad Museum, you:

- Assist with the Kids Fun Day
- Help with the creation and restoration of our artifacts and displays

When you become a Docent at the New Braunfels Railroad Museum, you:

- Explain the history of the depot and railroads to our guests
- You can run your own model trains anytime you are serving as a docent
